Impromptu Drone Shoot in Swampscott
During a visit from my friend Lara, we explored the scenic beauty of Swampscott with an impromptu drone video shoot. Starting at the pier at Fisherman’s Beach, I captured her naturally stroll along the sandy beach. We ended at Eisman’s Beach as a golden sunset approached, the footage perfectly highlighting Swampscott’s charm and why it’s my favorite spot in the North Shore.

When my friend Lara visited my new apartment in Swampscott, it was the perfect opportunity to catch up over coffee and show her the neighborhood. Swampscott has quickly become my favorite spot in the North Shore of Boston, with its stunning beaches, charming pier, and tranquil coastal vibe.
After we finished our coffee, I grabbed my drone and suggested, “Hey, let’s make a video!” Lara laughed but was on board. We started at Fisherman’s Beach, where I gave her some quick instructions: walk naturally, enjoy the scenery, and let me handle the rest. With her as the subject, I launched the drone and captured beautiful shots of her strolling along the pier and the surrounding beach.

We made our way to the popular Eisman’s Beach, a local gem that was especially stunning at low tide. The wet sand created a breathtaking mirror-like effect, reflecting the sky and making the beach feel even more expansive. We ended the shoot here at sunset, and the soft golden light combined with the mirror-like sand made for some spectacular visuals. These made this video shoot so memorable.
This little production highlights not only the natural beauty of Fisherman’s and Eisman’s Beaches but also why Swampscott has become such a special place for me. I’m thrilled to share this video and hope it gives you a glimpse of the charm and elegance of this beautiful town. Whether you’re visiting the North Shore or looking for scenic spots to explore, Swampscott is a must-see destination.
